Last time we discussed European Countries, we discussed how different countries are fighting against deadly Covid-19 by taking different sorts of precautionary measures, curfews, and lockdown around the world. Following is the remaining list of other countries and their ways to fight Coronavirus to the date.

India:

India is also included in top infected countries with 74,292 total cases and 2,415 total deaths. However, the country has implied strict curfew and lockdowns. The public is fighting the virus bravely with unity and steadfastness. Various departments in states and at the Centre have been working as a team against the pandemic while efforts are being made by aviation and railways in providing essential items including medicines across the country. COVID Warrior platform has brought volunteers, civil society members, and local administration on one platform. In a short span, 1.25 crore has become a part of it.

Thailand:
Thailand, fortunately, lies in the list of least infected countries with 3,017 total cases and 56 total deaths. Their Prime Minister has ordered a nationwide curfew to fight against novel Coronavirus. The daily curfew will start from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. with exemptions for essential services like medical care and the transportation of fuel supplies. Governor Prayuth has imposed a state of emergency under which social gatherings are banned, domestic travel restricted, and all but essential shops shut. The country’s borders are closed to most foreigners. Curfew violations are punishable by two years in prison and fines of 40,000 baht ($1,213), according to a government statement.

Pakistan:

Pakistan is also touching the heights of the highly infected country with 32,674 total cases and 724 total deaths. The death rate is low in Pakistan due to the immediate supply of medical equipment and other essentials. However, the cases are high in number, the government is implementing new orders each day to fight against the virus. Lockdown has been imposed and only the pharmacy is allowed for 24/7 service. Flights have been banned and all trading has been ceased. All the institutions and workplaces are close and those which are open are strictly following the measures.

Sri Lanka:

Sri Lanka also comes in the list of least infected countries acted reasonably early in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and has thus far been somewhat successful in containing a potential outbreak within the country with total 889 total cases and 09 deaths. Sri Lanka has a relatively strong public health system and has done an admirable job in responding to the current crisis thus far. authorities are attempting to stop the spread through stringent social distancing measures, primarily through curfews, and tracing and isolating those who have to meet those that have tested positive.

Saudi Arabia:

The novel coronavirus presents a serious risk in Saudi Arabia with 42,925 total cases and 264 deaths. It banned foreign worshippers from performing pilgrimage in the holy city of Mecca, which no doubt halted the advance of the deadly disease. The government acted decisively as the coronavirus spread to implement comprehensive and unprecedented precautionary measures that were largely applauded. The kingdom started by quarantining an entire city and later imposed local lockdowns and a nationwide curfew that includes the two holy cities of Mecca and Medina. Violators of these measures have been denounced as citizens rally behind the slogan “We are all responsible.”

Saudi Arabia’s version of the “lockdown” has protected the public while preserving daily life. It has acted quickly to close markets, shopping malls, beauty salons and gatherings, in public places, following its suspension of schools in previous weeks.
